About Me
Xingjian Chen | 陈行健
I am currently a postdoctoral fellow co-mentored by Prof. Jian Shu at MGH & Harvard Medical School and Prof. Collin M. Stultz at MIT. Recently, I obtained my Ph.D. from City University of Hong Kong under the supervision of Prof. Ka-Chun Wong. Earlier this year, I was a research intern at Microsoft Research Asia & Microsoft Research AI4Science under the supervision of Dr. Pan Deng. I am interested in Machine Learning and Bioinformatics. My current research focuses on the development of multimodal deep learning algorithms for multi-omics data integration (especially on Spatial Transcriptomics and Metagenomics). I am also interested in Biomedical Imaging and BioNLP.Before arriving at CityU, I received my Master's Degree at Nanjing Agricultural University under the supervision of Prof. Wei Xue. Prior to that, I majored in pure wet-lab-based biological sciences:)
